Today’s photo is a stained glass window by Alphonse Mucha in the Václav (Wenceslas) Cathedral in Prague in the Czech Republic. This window was created in 1931 by Mucha in the style of Art Nouveau (which was originally just called ‘Mucha style’).

That is one of the most beautiful stained glass windows that I have ever seen, the colours are so rich and vibrant and the style really makes it stand out from the traditional stained glass normally featured in churches.

Great shot! I have been considering Prague and a place to settle for several months. How have you found it as far as possible long term livability?
