I love taking pictures on beautiful days with clear blue skies but sometimes having a little weather like this shot in the Rhine River Gorge, can make a shot more interesting.

Wow, great shot. I agree — I’ll take dramatic weather over clear skies almost every time. You’ll have to work more to get any shots at all, but they’re likely to be a lot more dramatic than they would have otherwise.

Wow, Chris. This is spectacular. It looks really grand and, you’re right, the bit of weather adds a moody touch to it.

I did take that photo from a ricer cruise ship, an Avalon ship to be precise. I was using a telephoto lens.
