Ataturk's Death Bed - Dolmabahce Palace, Istanbul - Photo

Imagine if there were still people around the United States who remembered meeting George Washington. Modern Turkey is still young enough to have that kind of connect to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk who was the first president of the country who set the direction for Turkey as an independent secular state. In the Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul you can see the room and the bed where Ataturk died.
