Coridors Under the Arena - Italica, Spain - Photo

Italica is the name of a now ruined Roman settlement outside what is now Sevilla in Spain. Two Roman Emperors (Trajan and Hadrian) came from this town. This photograph is of the corridors Under the ruins of the large Arena. The word “arena”, by the way, comes from the word for sand which was spread over its floor.
