There is nothing like dressing up like a 1600s pikeman with a bunch of your friends to reenact a battle. At least, that seems to be the feeling of the people of Geneva who celebrate the Escalade each December in a way that belies their button-down reputation.

Hello! I’ve been a fan of the podcast for months. Just wanted to let you know you’d inspired me to go to Escalade in Geneva this year- I’m on Study Abroad in the UK, so it’s not as far away as it would be normally. Thanks for the inspiration and hours of entertainment!
