Rose Window - Strasbourg, France

This Rose Window is one of the largest in Europe and comes from the cathedral in Strasbourg which is the capital of the Alsace province. Alsace was German for more years that it was French and has a heavily German influence. Our tour guide claimed that the window’s colors are those of the German flag (and that those of Notre Dame in Paris are the colors of the French Flag) but I am not sure I buy that story since the colors of the German flag are black, red and yellow.
