I was having a hard enough time being productive today before WebProNews brought to my attention that Google has released a new module for Google Earth that lets you see what Rome looked like in the 300s A.D. Don’t they know that this stuff is like history buff crack? Check out the video which shows flying by the Colosseum in a way that the Caesar’s of the Flavian dynasty could only dream of doing.

T activate this layer go to Rome, check on the Ancient Rome 3d Layer under the gallery. Then click on one of the buildings to get the files that you will need to download with the terrain and the building models.
